RevEngAI

Reverse Engineering in the age of AI

A VLAIO COOCK project by Ghent University and KU Leuven, transferring knowledge and technology to industry to manage and mitigate the risks of AI-based reverse engineering of software, and to use AI for improving the protection of software.

RevEngAI aims to enable companies to assess, manage, and mitigate the risks of AI-based reverse engineering of their software more efficiently and effectively.

More specifically, RevEngAI aims to describe and disseminate as comprehensive an attack model as possible, bringing together the necessary broad knowledge and translating it to management level in order to assess, manage, and mitigate the risks of AI-based reverse engineering of software.

Furthermore, this project plans to develop methods and instantiate and share proof-of-concept (PoC) implementations of them to allow both experts and non-experts to apply that broad knowledge efficiently and effectively to concrete company software and to concretise the knowledge.
